From the first conversation through ongoing maintenance, the process is structured, voluntary, and free of guaranteed outcomes.
How does a neighborhood get started with the program?
A board member, property manager, builder, developer, resident advocate, or interested homeowner starts the conversation through the enrollment form. The program team then helps identify the right participation path for that community.
What happens after a neighborhood subscribes?
A subscribing neighborhood receives exclusive access to its Community Secure Score™ reports, which provide a recurring, organized view of neighborhood security conditions, community readiness, and program progress. The Totality Secure™ Score is proprietary and multi-factor, and the complete methodology is not published.
When can individual residents register?
Residents may voluntarily register after their neighborhood participates. Registered residents may receive program updates, local opportunities, eligible participant benefits, and complimentary home security site survey opportunities when available.
What kinds of proactive measures does the process consider?
The program can organize categories such as exterior lighting, cameras, door and window security, locks, access management, landscaping visibility, resident communication, and neighborhood infrastructure, matched to each community's priorities.
Does completing the process guarantee a specific result?
No. The process supports structured participation, review, improvement, and certification. It does not guarantee crime reduction, insurance savings, property value increases, public endorsement, or any specific outcome.
