What does Totality Secure™ certification recognize?
Certification recognizes a neighborhood's participation in the Totality Secure™ Safe Neighborhoods Program™ and completion of defined review steps. It gives communities a meaningful way to communicate program participation, ongoing maintenance expectations, and a recognizable program identity to residents.
Does certification guarantee crime reduction or any specific outcome?
No. Certification is a participation and defined review recognition. It is not a guarantee of crime reduction, safety, insurance savings, property value increases, public endorsement, or any specific security outcome.
How does a neighborhood become eligible for certification?
A neighborhood begins with enrollment and program subscription, then moves through the program's organized review, improvement guidance, and documentation steps. Certification follows completion of the defined review process for that community.
How is certification maintained over time?
Certified communities keep the program current through approved signage and digital materials, resident communication, renewal practices, and ongoing attention to the maintenance expectations described during review.
