What is the Totality Secure™ Safe Neighborhoods Program™?
A voluntary, subscription-based program that organizes the security neighbors already own on the outside of their homes — cameras, video doorbells, exterior and motion lighting — so those views overlap into one connected picture for the whole street.
How is this different from an old-fashioned neighborhood watch?
Same idea, current tools. A watch depended on someone being awake and at the window. Today the outside of each home is already covered around the clock — driveways, sidewalks, front doors — and the program organizes those setups so the coverage overlaps from house to house instead of stopping at each property line.
Does one neighbor see my cameras?
No. Every homeowner keeps full control of their own devices and footage. The program organizes coverage and readiness at the neighborhood level; it does not pool, share, or access resident video.
What are Community Secure Score™ reports?
Subscribing neighborhoods get exclusive Community Secure Score™ reports — a regular, easy-to-read picture of your neighborhood's security conditions and progress. The Totality Secure™ Score is proprietary and multi-factor, and the complete methodology is not published.
Can individual residents join?
Yes, once your neighborhood participates. Registered residents may receive program updates, local opportunities, eligible participant benefits, complimentary home security site survey opportunities, and preferred pricing on qualifying products and services when available.
Do I need an HOA?
No. Neighborhoods, streets, and subdivisions can join with or without one. Where an association exists, it's a natural place to start.
Who can sign a neighborhood up?
Any neighbor can start the conversation — a homeowner, a neighborhood organizer, an HOA board member, a property manager, or a builder.
What kinds of improvements are considered?
Video surveillance and doorbell cameras, smart locks and sensors, exterior and motion lighting, doors and windows, entry points, landscaping visibility, and how neighbors stay in touch.
Does participation guarantee a specific result?
No. The program supports structured participation, review, improvement, and certification. It does not guarantee crime reduction, insurance savings, property value increases, public endorsement, or any specific outcome.
